Day games just don’t have the same atmospheres that Night games have.

The best game I've ever been to was 2018 UGA at 3p, during the day - it was just as electric.

as long as it's not 100 degrees its not bad during the day, just get drunk faster

then you can go home and eat a good dinner so you're 100% sunday

LSU Ole Miss will absolutely be the 2:30 CBS game. Nothing else is close

Never underestimate the draw Bama has. The networks know this.

Teams ranked in the top 5 get ratings. People turn on the game just to see if it can stay competitive.

For other games, people only turn it on if it's close in the 2nd half.

Networks prefer the former.

Why are we even talking about this? We need to all stay focused on Auburn. Looking ahead is an easy way to get distracted, just take things one game at a time.

Agree...it's a total myth that games have to be at night to be special in Baton Rouge. Does it help, sure, but it is definitely not a pre-requisite.

Passing on day games that have all the ingredients for a special day just because it isnt at night is foolish.

Same reason we are playing at 11 next weekend and not 230. CBS wants the highest ranked team.

Want to take my son to experience his first SEC Night Game in Tiger Stadium.

How old is your son? If he is pre teen I would take him to the UAB game. It will probably be a night and won't be so loud that it scares him. SEC night games can be overwhelming for small kids

If he is a teenager or older do a SEC game and you have failed as a parent if you are a Tiger fan and your son hasn't been to a LSU game by the time he is 13.

This. Should work in our favor this time so LSU/OM is at night.
