So truckers delivering cross country loads will now have hours upon hours of down time on a daily basis because they have to stop and recharge their electric batteries.

It takes 30-60 minutes on those fast chargers to recharge a regular electric sedan's battery. How long do you think it'll take to recharge a battery big enough to move a big rig's weight? And how short of a range is it going to have when towing a trailer that has 15 tons of weight in it?

Democrats don’t plan ahead like this. It’s only the “now” presence. It’s all a knee jerk reaction on their part. This electric deal will cause chaos and shut the country down.
