Honest question, have you experienced a cat 3 storm in the last 9 years? Storm surge is nothing to play chicken with!

Never one that has shot straight into Tampa Bay. Been in a ton of big storms but almost all of them in central florida.
Irma wasn’t any issue in St. Pete but I realize it isn’t all that comparable to this one.
