While that was a special night I have always and will likely always feel it's just over shadowed by the team losing 3 of their laST 4 games. I know it shouldn't factor into the equation but perspective matters there I think. If they beat Tulane and Nebraska, I think that night in 82 is remembered a little differently

‘82 Florida State Game. That one holds a special place for me as well. There probably wasn’t a grocery store with an orange left in the state.

No kidding, that was wild the fog rolled in and we had sacks of oranges and bombarded the field……. And a lot of people in the lower seats in the bowl.
