My wife and I are looking to go on a 6-7 day vacation somewhere in early to mid November. Looking at PNW, getting a rental car in Seattle then driving down through some parks and ending up in Northern California.

I’ve been to Maine which was gorgeous some I’m open to the New England area as well. Any good November vacation spots that y’all would recommend?

Were there any particular parks you were wanting to hit if you go from Seattle to Northern California and how long did you want to be on the road? Be sure and get an AWD/4WD car rental, especially if you planning on doing any driving in the mountains.

November might be grey and rainy (or snowy) in the PNW mountains. I’d prefer the southwest to the PNW around that time of year.

We hardly ever get grey, rainy days on this side of the Cascade mountains. I went from being sick of rain in Chattanooga to looking forward to seeing it in less than a year of living out here. I think Bend averages around 10 inches of rain and 300+ sunny days a year.
