I think that many of you will agree that neither of our two playing QBs have both the ability to run and throw accurately.
Certainly, Lee has the ability to throw, but he is terribly immobile. I was shocked to see him get out of the pocket and hit KW with that big pass play late.
Hatch is a pretty good runner, but no opponents worry too much about him throwing any deep balls.
In either case, the defenses gain some advantage by not having to worry about a QB who can hurt them in two dimensions!
I wrongly forecasted earlier this year that JJ would begin to pick up a lot more playing time. The last play I remember he made, he fumbled near the goal line. I don't think that Miles has put him back in the game since then. I could be wrong.
I think that LSU's offense would be much more dangerous if we had a QB who was a threat to burn the defense with scrambling, passing and rushing.
JJs redshirt has already been burned a a freshman. I'd like to see him get a lot more snaps!

According to Hannigriff and Rush this is a done deal.

As much as I follow LSU Football, I am surprised by that information.
I think it would be great if JJ got the redshirt!
I'd like to see him get plenty of snaps at QB next year.
He might be the answer.

JJ didn't fumble; he just didn't break the goal line. Lafell fumbled on the very next play.
