re: House of the Dragon S1E3--Official Thread; “Second of His Name”

A few nerd sites of questionable credibility are claiming that Elizabeth Olsen & Henry Cavill are in negotiations for roles in future seasons of HotD (the sites are so shitty that I won't link). The Olsen story seems to have some legs, as the "Emergency Awesome" youtube guy did a video on Olsen possibly playing a younger version of Melisandre (he has a so-so track record on these things).

Regarding Cavill, I suspect this is just false buzz being conflated with the seemingly more-credible reports that he's close to a MCU deal. However, if Cavill were to join HotD, there's a particular Northern lord who plays a not-insignificant role in the Dance of the Dragons for which Cavill could be near-perfect.
