How crowded is Universal Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights? Day and night?

It’s only bearable if you do the Express pass; They vacate one side of the park at around 5:00 or 6:00 PM to transition from normal park ops to set up for HHN admission/tickets. If you’re there early evening, the normal lines are not too bad but after dark the Express pass is a necessity…IMO

We got florida resident discount tickets about 10 years to Halloween horror nights. It was so packed it sucked. Never went back. It's not about the experience anymore its about making the $$ for the parks.

We went one evening and remember waiting in line. I can’t remember if we had express passes or not. It gets packed.
