Ruud’s return style is definitely unique. Normal depth on 1st serve and as far back as possible on 2nd.
He really is a boring pusher but with the ability to put away forehands. Apparently that’s good enough to make the top 10. Murray made a living doing it, I guess, although his return game was world class.
