Picking 2 in a 12 team league. Not really thrilled with the idea of mccaffrey due to injury history. However, RB drops off fast and waiting until 23/26 to pick again could lead to ugly results at RB.

Thoughts?

What about Ekeler? I'm picking 2nd in a 10 team league, i'm looking for suggestions as well.

I like ekeler, but there just isn’t much upside for him at pick 2 IMO.

He is 27, only 200 lbs and the chargers drafted a rb, so I’m sure they’ll look to reduce his touches where possible. I’d almost go Najee before ekeler. Ekeler has a good floor though and should rack up points in a PPR.

I hate not going for a RB at 2 because there wont' be much to pick from when I come back around at the end of 2nd. I'm really thinking about Jefferson at 2 though.

Would you rather have Jefferson/Kupp and James Connor or Mccaffery and Tyreek/Allen/Evans.

There is a path for those second round wideouts to finish WR1. I don’t see that for Connor/Chubb/Javonte

I wouldn’t overthink it.

You also need to know your league. Do guys typically draft RB heavy? Does someone always take Kelce or the expected QB1 early? These questions should play a factor. On the surface, you take Christian Mccaffery.

I don't trust Mccaffery will stay healthy. Theres value at wr in rounds 3-6 i believe.

I have no problem with it because RB is an injury prone position and it sucks losing your number 1. WR is safer IMO

What about Derek Henry at 2? He's been super healthy until the foot injury last year.
