Im in the Army, Stationed on the east side of Sadr City at JSS SUJ, formerly known as Camp Wareagle...(thank god they changed that gay name.) In the Army, if you are deployed for under a year, when your eml leave (mid tour leave) comes up, you get 10-12 days. If you have a 12 month deployment, you get 15 days r and r, and if your deployment is 15 months or over, you get 18. I am a former Marine as well, and was in desert storm, and admit it is different, but Ill take it where I can get it.
