Exactly. And in Louisiana, the decent/ good public school systems are in parishes that have money, and are wealthy suburbs. Only one or two come to mind tbh.

And the school board and parish is where the moneys at. The state of Louisiana doesn’t provide enough funding to keep the lights on barely.
