Was looking through reverb and saw quilter amp in a box. Never heard of the brand but the demos sounded good.

Does anyone run an amp in a box pedal for their bedroom rig? Anything worth a try?

Zvex has some well known amp in a box pedals i.e. box of rock & box of metal.

Universal audio just released a whole line of fancy amp simulators.

In my opinion, digital is 100% the way to go for this kind of stuff, especially at first. Either line 6 hx stomp or boss gt-1000core can handle your amp modeling needs and offer you a lot more.

By the way, I went to the quilter website, and their pedalboards seem real nice.

Never tried them, but I hear the Strymon Iridium and all the UA stuff is great. I did just get a Crazy tube Circuits Crossfire. It's a recreation of a blackface Super Reverb or Twin on one side and a Tube Screamer on the other. It's one of my favorites. It saved me 2k buying a super reverb.
