To clarify, if I’m bringing a bottle, it’s at a restaurant here in town where I have a relationship with the somm and it’s a bottle we’ve talked about in the past. I rarely do so, though.

I more enjoy seeing what unique wines they’ve been able to acquire. A solid somm is a good friend to have.
