Exactly. Playing in the NFL is not a right. I am so happy the Saints did not trade for him.

If I’m not mistaken 2 separate jurisdictions couldn’t indict him for the accusations against him. Is this a PR mess? Yes, regardless of one thinks of the accusations’ veracity. Tbh, I really would agree with a year suspension given the gravity of this situation and NFL’s need to protect its reputation. The NFL is a business and it has a right to do this but it’s botched these things so publicly and blatantly in the past that they make everything worse.
