Come on man you could of made the same arguments on the 2019 offense going into the year

QB we sucked in 18 Burrow 57.8 percent and 16 tds

Rb Clyde was garbage only averaged 4.5 yards a carry in 2018 Emery averaged 5.0 yds in 2020

Wr Chase and Marshall were highly rated but each only averaged 250 yards for the year

OL Return the same crappy ol from the year before

See how that logic work wonders?

Do you not understand the difference between having a lot of players who gained valuable experience together in 2018 vs what we have going into 2022?

We turned over basically the ENTIRE staff, from coaches to analysts, to everyone.

We also have a lot of players who will be valuable contributors this season who weren't even at LSU last year.

It's a major difference.

You do realize for that time that was an upgrade in QB production right? You could see the signs of a team that maybe could breakout in 2019.

Offensively this team compares way better to the 2018 team than the 2019 team. QB battle. No proven RB’s. Talented WR group and questionable o line.

I do believe the defense will be really good. Yes they have question marks but they have a great d line and that can cover up a lot of deficiencies at LB and DB.
