Does anyone know of any good forums or sites or Facebook book pages to keep up on the fishing in Vermillion Bay? Or are there many fishermen from that area on this forum?

Watch the river levels. When it gets low, go. If you hear a report, the crowds have moved in already
Or Drive by TCoons restaurant in Lafayette If his boat is hooked up they are biting But don’t ask him, he won’t tell

Not sure about where you are asking about but I can tell you about Vermilion Bay. Sorry just peeve of mine.
Fishing is good if you run to shoals. Redfish at marsh island. Bay doesn’t get good until fall when water cools off and trout move in. Once you see posts on Facebook, it gets stupid out there but those post are usually about 2 weeks behind when good fishing starts. Most people know not to say but as word gets around, then the stupids come out.

Thanks for the info. I wasn’t asking about any spots or tips in particular, just some groups or forums that might be about fishing in Vermilion Bay launching from Quintana, Marsh Island, close in reefs, weeks bay, daily reports. But happy to have the spots and tips.
