Actually it’s easier to manage. There is no question about who made a particular purchase.
But anyway, i am pretty sure that most people use cards these days and relatively fewer checking accounts at all

It's pretty easy if you have a good relationship with open communication.
He knows what I make, I know what he makes. We divided up bills based on what we make (he makes more than me, so he takes on a heavier weight of the bills).
We both have our own spending money but a lot of the time we'll buy things for each other. He doesn't micromanage when I want to buy a new dress or shoes and I don't micromanage when he wants to buy a new amp or some shite for his computer.
I feel like some of y'all just have some shitty communication in your marriages.
