I installed one myself for the purpose of a bike rack, so no electrical running to it. It was easy enough to do myself.
Mine had 17 mm bolts already in the subframe rails for the hitch waiting to be used to mount the rack*.
Easy with the bolts already in situ.
* Also "mount the rack" usually precedes my delivery of a pearl necklace.
