It will come back around.
It's just been a unfortunate weather set up for Mid America. A large area of high pressure just parked itself from the midwest down to the border and hasn't moved much.
I should have known something was off when we went from winter to summer. We completely skipped typical spring like temperatures.
Fortunately Northwest Arkansas got a good amount of rain due to a slow moving cold front and a warm front that set up over the area the last 4/5 days.
But temperatures will soon be back in the mid to upper 90's before the inevitable cool down, which I've read typically begins August 4th. Obviously wont be an instant cool down, but things should improve slowly.
Interested to see if the tropics will fire up anytime soon.
