Here's what I don't get. Why do the democrats insist on failing in a city that has been theirs for 100 years?
Because they place more importance on having a black politician in office than on having the right politician in office. Too many black people feel like with a person who shares their skin color at the helm, they'll be saved. History has contradicted that for quite some time but it doesn't matter. We are 2 generations at minimum away from this correcting itself.

They idiotically think all their identify-based "First [insert race/gender] elected!" is the same as the best. And often it's the worst.
But hey, gotta check those boxes.

Seeing as they’ve pissed away opportunities to improve themselves, advance, right “wrongs” over multiple generations already, what makes you think they’ll get caught up in just two more?

If you go by voting history trends, black people are pretty racist.
