Yeh easy peasy. How would it look for a career businessman to pressure the highest medical advisor in the country to fire a guy who has been on staff since Reagan? And if the NIH director said no he would fire and appoint a new one in the middle of a pandemic...that is some incredibly stupid logic. Even using hindsight it is pretty retarded.
