In high theft neighborhoods, a stick shift might be the way to go.
We found than a Cougar and Tbird were built on the same frame, similar costs but the Cougar would cost us $1000 less a year in insurance because Tbirds (same engine even) had more wrecks, etc. We would never have guessed that.
