I was quoted around $12.5k for a 3.5ton plus some additional ductwork on a house I was looking to purchase. Tropical AC and Heat. Have used him for regular servicing with no issues.

Am in the middle of a replacement..SEER 16 2.5 ton outside unit installed $4700 ish (American Standard Brand)
3 weeks later inside unit is being replaced, 4600 ish, but some construction work will have to be done, new air handler/evap/heater unit is 2 inches bigger than the existing opening(closet mount). not sure of brand..guessing American Std as well
Failed outside unit was 20 years old, inside unit was 14 years old. Both were old freon. Inside unit was newer and could also run on the new freon, with the changing of one piece part.
