Worked two jobs when I was little to help us stay afloat. Got promoted and dedicated his adult life to managing a retail store so that I could have a decent middle class upbringing
That's sappy and gay and hit me in the feelings. It reminds me of my dad. When I was little I knew this about his work:
1. Worked for the DOTD(no idea what it stood for).
2. Was in the National Guard and went to a place called "drill" a weekend every month.
3. Helped Build Bikes at Godchauxs during holiday season.
At 8 yrs old I thought #3 was just a hobby so he could better learn how to put our bikes together and repair our broken chains and flat tires.
He worked his arse off for us.
