I’m afraid he will be prone to interceptions.

Kelly alludes to this almost every time he talks about Nuss. Denbrock went after Daniels because they arent convinced Nuss will protect the ball.

Dont forget he threw 3 picks in his first spring game. You cant coach the gunslinger out of most QBs

I think you just try to coach them on the things that matter the most and that is taking care of the football. He’s gonna make some mistakes.

I think you’ve got to be careful with a guy like that who’s really talented that you don’t overcoach that and make sure he takes care of the football.

(Nussmeier) was running boot. He's not really good as a boot guy, he doesn't protect the ball well.

Kelly never talks about that ever. You're making it up.

The only time he talked about it is when Shea Dixon asked him about Nuss being prone to making mistakes during the post spring game press confernence, which is only imagined by MB homers, and Kelly turned it around on Dixon by saying everybody, including Kelly himself makes mistakes, but that Dixon is the only person in the room who never make mistakes. As Kelly was obviously peeved that Dixon would ask such an absurd question.

Then he said with someone as talented and as confident as Nussmeier is, the last thing you want to do is over coach him. Just make sure he understand that he needs to protect the football and then he is good to go.

Meanwhile, what Kelly alludes to every time he talks about Nuss is that he is extremely talented and very confident.

That doesn't even make sense. What are you smoking?

We are not talking about what happened last year when he had just arrived on campus and who cares since it isn't relevant anymore? Meanwhile, Nuss is a gunslinger of the good kind. Hence, why would anyone want to coach that out of a future first round talent like Nussmeier? Are you on hard drugs?
