We’re 15 pages in, and nobody has mentioned the costs associated with US R&D subsidizing the world? All leading edge drugs and equipment are developed here and then they’re offered at a substantial discount to the rest of the world. The US also pays healthcare providers a premium. The argument is nobody wants a second rate doctor. The reality is 99% DGAF…unless they have that 1 in a million ailment they need diagnosed.
