He definitely does not belong on the list right now due to inactivity.
I can also see anyone having doubts about a WR returning to top 10 form after being out for a year & a half, especially an ankle injury to a player that already was not known for his speed/explosiveness.
What Thomas does have going for him is his age, he is competitive AF, and his hands.
The year Drew went down and Teddy B came in Thomas' numbers still were there, so the people making the Brees>Winston argument for his potential drop in production don't have much of a case. Now going from Payton-Carmichael calling plays, that may be a bigger factor. Also now add in Landry / Olave / Harty / Callaway and consider that Thomas should not have to be force fed or be the only person who can run effective routes
Also his contract, even if he has an 80rec/900yrd/6TD year is still not a bad value based on current WR contracts
