To have a winning season, the freshman class gonna have to step up....don't forget, we were not so good last year.

True we were not so good last year but we beat Florida (not so good but talented) and we beat A&M (up and comer with talent) and we played Bama to the wire (powerhouse), so why can't we beat the same 2 schools again with a solid team and much better coaching?

Worse
Bama loss (go with the odds here for a loss)
Aub, Tenn, A&M, Arky (3-1)
Miss State, Ole Miss (1-1) We beat Miss. St. maybe lose to Ole Miss
Others- we beat all the rest, win bowl game
10-3

Best
We still go 3-1 against those 4 teams but beat both Miss. schools
11-2

Something tells me we could have a major upset and go 12-1 but highly unlikely

We do have a team and coaching to surprise many

DL- Stacked and Stout
LB- Baskerville and Jones are fine, Penn is the key to play well
CB- A lot of new faces but they are good and talented
Safety- Fine there
Overall Defense will be much better than last year

OL- should be better than last 2 years and quite good because of BK and Davis
QB- We have 4 good players and 2 great ones in that bunch
RB- Those guys are bruisers and super talented
WR- Maybe the best in the country
TE- Big question mark. Hope they surprise us with some big ole boy (6'5" 260) who makes the switch from Def to Offense, and catches everyone off guard, and Taylor comes in off the bench ready with solid play. We have to send out our blocking TE for catches so when they are in, the defense does not just key in on the run game.
Overall- much better than last year due to better OL, better QB and a host of studs running and catching the ball

Def- will allow 20ppg and about 385ypg
Offense- will score 37ppg and average 450ypg
If we get the averages above then no more than 2 losses
