The protocol does not need to be changed. They are trying to kill the person, not scare them. When cops frick up, blame them but multiple cops shooting a guy that had previously been shooting at them is not a frick up. Does anybody here think you are going to shoot at a cop and not get shot in return? Is anybody dumb enough to think that?

Implying it is panicky to shoot somebody multiple times that was literally attempting to kill you is just asinine. I guarantee if somebody had shot at you, you are not firing back once and then checking to see how they are doing.

The thing is I know you are not a leftist so why the leftist attitude to be more concerned about the criminal trying to kill people than the cop trying to stop him?
