Durant 6th season his TS was 65 Ingram 6th season his TS was 55 That is not even comparable. Durant this year was 63. Unless you think Ingram will be a top 5 player he will not be as good as Durant was this year. He can make all nba team and still not come close to current Durant.
Hate to say it, but I agree
He is one of my favorite Pels ever, but I find it pretty unlikely that at any point BI is a top 5 player in this league, whereas Durant legit could make the case for being a top 3 player during half his career, including just last season.
KD was/is just on another level as an offensive player. Like last year it really just seemed like he could just score literally at will, from anywhere, against anyone. He was averaging 27-7-6 and 45% from three coming off an Achilles injury. That’s just insane.
If instead of his laid back, deferential nature, if KD had the aggression and mentality of some of his peers all time, like Bird, Jordan, Kobe etc. Durant would be able to make a case for the best offensive scorer of the modern era.
