What the author of this propaganda piece doesn't mention is they also get less potent/deadly with each new strain.
But that wouldn't scare his audience as much

Thats not really true at all. They are just as likely to mutate to a less contagious strain as a more contagious one, or a more deadly one or less deadly one. It’s random. It’s just the variants you will hear About and circulate are the more contagious ones the don’t eradicate it’s host
