That’s great! I’m sure he’ll be a good instructor and that he’ll also be sharing a ton of great stories to help pass the time.

I started my license at 34 and finished at 35. Though most of my landings and procedural work was done at Slidell and Picayune, I was based out of Lakefront. Do yourself a favor and try to get as much time at a towered airport as possible.

I always tell everyone who asks “what was the hardest part” that your instructor will never let you do anything for which you’re not ready, except talk on the radio…

Yea man he was an airline pilot for 12 years as well, he’s fluent in radio talk! I was just trying to listen.

Can’t wait to go up again.
