For the masses of tech employees trying to escape California's insane costs of living....air service does matter.

They are definitely spilling into mid sized metros and driving up housing prices. Before they were primarily going to the major Texas or midwestern cities. But now it's metro areas like Indy, Pittsburgh, Nashville, etc.
