Can't say I'm a fan of it - but the concept of opposing teams wearing contrasting colors doesn't appear to apply in baseball, especially recently. White vs. gray is the historical standard, but dark vs. dark has become more and more common.

In the age of HD and 4K, I don’t mind both teams wearing colors instead of gray or white. But there should be a rule that the colors contrast. Navy vs. black is not enough of a contrast.

Grey vs. Gray was the historical standard.

Baseball has never had a hangup about color contrasting like football because it's not important. The game moves at a snail's pace and they're not having to pick out players to call penalties every 10 seconds.
