Matt Adams will start for USM.
2-2 5.91 ERA. 28:6 K/BB ratio in 21 innings.
Repertoire:
4-seam fastball 90-93
11-5 curveball low 70s
Changeup low to mid 80s
Can be very good if commanding all pitches, but if not then the fastball is liable to get hit hard. Last couple starts for him have been truncated (3-4 innings or so).

I think USM’s pitching situation is still better than ours even coming out of the losers’s bracket. Obviously, our lineup is better. But we’ve seen it hibernate for over half of the last 2 games. Need to ride our wave of momentum, step on their throat and finish this bad boy off tonight. Do not want to have to play tomorrow.
