Only IMAX experience I ever thought was worth the distinction was the first one I saw in L.A. 25 years ago.
Then everyone wanted to claim IMAX so they could charge a premium and we got a faux product with downsized screens.
Used to be a picture guy but nowadays, screens are screens. Sound is the only difference among venues.
