It’s pretty fricking obvious what they’re doing and why. They sure as hell aren’t doing it out of kindness and compassion. It’s votes and power. It’s all they care about. They want to rule over the ashes.

But also - it's happening and it's a good thing.

I would guess that the percentage of the population that knows it is happening is a lot larger than 1/3rd. The 1/3rd probably represents the percentage of the population that knows its happening and see it as a problem.
