I think it would be a good idea to give him an ovation rather than boo him. Sure there might be some animosity because he's at Bama and because he's an a-hole but you can't overlook the good that he's done for LSU. It's time to show we've moved on.

Those of you that want to boo, my question is why? It won't do any good. I'm sure he's expecting boos from us so I think giving him an ovation would probably make him a little uneasy.

Flame away.

Yep, when message board posters look ahead, we lose, huh?

No, it just shows a sick infatuation with our former coach. I say it's time to get off your knees.

An ovation is definitly in order for what he did at LSU. That being said, there's not another team and coach I'd like to see LSU destroy more.

I think thats what I'll do Clerk. But after that ovation he needs to know his place. Wouldn't it be funny if he headed towards the wrong tunnel at half.

I actually think an ovation is a good way of saying we've moved on. Why are you booing him? Because he's used to be our coach?

i say we grab him off the bus and "tar and feather" him! but that's not legal so let's just boo him.

I know, way too many rantards fill the seats in Tiger Stadium. Too many Wal-Mart jersey wearing fans that never came to school here, IMO.

I'll just let it be known I'm embarrassed by the ignorance of most of you.

BTW, I can't believe this is anchored. It should be stickied.

there going to boo the alabama team when they come out. i doubt that the p.a. announcer will say "AND HERE COMES THE TIDE, COACHED BY NICK SABAN". so, he won't be able to tell the difference if we are booing at him or just his team.

I think giving him a standing aplause is a great idea. Saban already said he wish he didn't leave. Does anyone know what Florida fans did for Steve?

No, did you? I responded:

We don't play Bama this week. The constant talk about Saban is sickening. Why talk about him at all today? Only those infatuated with him continue to do so.

You know, after giving it some thought, this does make sense. Why should we still be mad at him? We should show him appreciation for the things he's done for LSU, then give him our best game and kick his arse. I wonder if we can get more people to move on and act grown up?
