I LOVE "Road Maps"! I specify road maps because these days MAP stands for something else...my dad would NOT approve of.
Before GPS...I would bring a road map on my flights to keep track of where we were.
Also...when I drive I always have a road map with me. Waze and Google are good, but if you seek an alternative route...I trust me over Wade 90% of the time.
When an accident occurs Waze is gonna take you...and everyone else on the 1st alternative route...I take the 2nd alternative route.
Gonna go look at my Road Atlas now

I love maps. I usually get topo maps and road maps of anywhere I travel. Geography is fascinating.
