When you live in Louisiana long enough then visit other places in the country, you can't wait to get away fast enough. These are facts. Deal with it son. It's not a knock on him and quite frankly, it's none of your business why he wants to leave. Broaden your horizons and you'll understand why LA keeps losing population.

I am so fricking sick of people ripping this state. If you don't like it get the frick out and stop spewing your criticism to get attention.

This post is especially retarded coming from somebody who has followed recruiting for a long while.

If that were true, how tf have we had so many Louisiana kids stay when they've visited so many other places??? We've gotten kids from Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Nashville, Dallas, Brooklyn, Salt Lake City, Baltimore and many, many, many other places. These weren't 3 star players either outside of maybe 1-2.

Unfortunately for a lot of people this is true. I have been back 4 years after 23 away in Denver and Atlanta. Lots of US and International work.

The people in Baton Rouge are a hidden gem. But once you set out into the world. There are a lot of eye opening opportunities that don’t really exist here. Mostly referring to jobs and business.

Again I am here because I want to be

Our infrastructure, education and crime are pretty big problems in the eyes of an outsider.

All of my kids left and won’t come back. The economic opportunities just are not here in enough numbers. Sad

Playing major D1 football is not even remotely close to choosing where you want to live, work, and raise a family. Do you think kids care about roads, jobs, or infrastructure? They are going to immaculate facilities and will spend most of their time in a bubble or chasing pussy at the bars.

Sometimes kids do want to just go somewhere else but it's not because they are worried about their job prospects after college, healthcare, or what other problems Louisiana has.
