It’s going to ruin lives. Two out of every 100 colllege players get drafted. Average NFL career is a little over three years.
Giving these kids a taste of financial security through football and then it not panning out for 99% of them is a terrible thing for the sport. A kids goal should be a free college education and graduating without the apparently unbearable burden of student debt.
