Keep your VHF radio on. We saw the same forecast as everyone else and were out in Lake Robin when we heard the coast guard post the warning for Lake Borne.
That gave us enough time to get back to the marina before the shite hit us.
I never kept my radio on until that day and now I'll have it on all the time.
