Throw on top the fact that she felt literally nothing for him the entire time, and knowingly was fricking with his mind when it was obvious he began to figure things out. Only an awful person would do any of that. It's what differentiated her from the woman that got kicked out of the world that he fell in love with.

I don't think they were actually having sex. There was a point about them not being able to get Truman to have kids - I think that was there short way of saying "they're not fricking" without having to literally come out and say aloud "they're not fricking."
