but the reality as supported by data is that men have a slightly higher average IQ than women (~0.25 SD)

4 IQ points, in the aggregate, is a pretty significant difference, especially when factoring in a Bell Curve distribution of IQs (especially in the case of male/female IQs where males more frequently disburse away from the median).
These 4 IQ points, on average, make women less likely to have the necessary IQ to be in middle management, far less likely to be in senior management/leadership positions, and even more unlikely to be in fields/roles that require IQ significantly above average.
Qualitatively, your point is as incorrect as it is technically incorrect
