A 15% ethanol blend is going to be allowed to be sold in the U.S. in an attempt to lower fuel costs. 10% ethanol is currently being sold. Is the 15% bad for a car's engine or performance? Is it worth paying more for ethanol free gas?

Not sure but I have a flex fuel vehicle, and when I use the E-85 my gas mileage goes to shite. I wind up spending more for gas bc I have refuel that much more

For older cars it is. My 2003 is rated for up to 12%. Anything over that and my service guy said I would have problems.

Going to equal less MPG and cause mechanical issues. Resulting in the obvious, more expensive all around.

I’ve read conflicting information about E-15 and engine damage.I think what I’ll do is put 1/2 E15 and half ethanol free when I fill up.PIA but I’d rather not take a chance.

I already use ethanol free for mower, chainsaw, generator, etc. since it has been available.I actually never h ad any trouble with E10 in my small engines but I feel better about using ethanol free.

Totally stupid to increase the ethanol if it’s going to be made from corn. With fertilizer and diesel prices there is likely to be corn shortages and it will be very expensive.
Just one more thing Brandon is doing to screw over America.
