Bullpen is critical

So I was thinking about how this team appears to have turned a corner and is finding their identity while having fun playing together. It was great listening to the announcers constantly gushing over the arms in the bullpen.
I was talking to someone about the Braves last year and how they were able to win the series with a top notch bullpen and no really dominant starting pitchers, like they were known for in the 90s. Maybe this team is kind of similar (even though we need to improve on the errors).
I'm excited to watch the team continue to rise and improve. I think this will be Coach Johnson's best offensive team, so maybe with the solid bullpen we can continue to gel together and make a run to the CWS.
This team is very fun to watch and with the stud hitters you just know one good at bat can change any game.
LETS GEAUX!

So Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz weren’t dominant starters? How high exactly are your standards?
Edited to say I may have misread your post and you’re referring to the current Braves pitching staff. If so, my apologies.

He's saying they did have dominant starters in the 90's, which wasn't the case last year

Re-read what he said

It's the evolution of baseball. Starting pitching will always be paramount if you have them, but you're seeing some evolution to a more balanced approach than just starter to set up to closer.
