re: The Batman is out now on HBO Max

Watched this last night. This movie had so much potential, but it just doesn't work. It's too comic-book-y for the serious parts and too serious for the comic-book-y parts. It's bloated and over long. You could completely remove the cat-woman and Falcone subplot and make this a much tighter picture.

ETA: Also, David Fincher should get royalties for how hard they completely ripped off the scene where they were going through Riddler's apartment from Se7en.
