Drip irrigation adapter question

What kind of adapter do I need if want to hook up a 1/2 inch tubing to my garden spigot?

They sell the kits at hardware stores, there are a couple of options. You don’t have to buy the kit, but I’m just letting you know they sell them now with it all bundled.

I added a pressure regulator at the end of the 1/2 tubing before connecting the drop lines. I have seen them included in various kits. I bought a couple separate because I was just adding on to the system that was already installed.
