You’re the clueless one. There was nothing stopping Tate and Woodward from putting out a statement explaining that the matter would be dealt with at the conclusion of LSU’s postseason and until that time there is to be no comment from any LSU employee.
The only reason for the timing is that Woodward dreaded having to fire him coming off of a deep run. That mattered more to him than the STUDENT ATHLETES and fans getting to experience said run.
And it was going to happen - unless Wisconsin magically grew an offense LSU was going to the Sweet 16 with Wade
